Please join us on Wednesday, January 14, 2015, at 2:00 pm for a discussion of Life After Life, by Kate Atkinson.
Ursula Todd is born on a snowy night in 1910, only to die and be reborn repeatedly. This elaborate story blossoms
when Ursula begins to live though the Blitz and World War 2, which are vividly and hauntingly described from both
the British and German perspective. While Atkinson explores how tiny changes in events can have major impacts
on an individual’s journey, she also brings major historical events into perspective from domestic settings.
(A companion novel, A God in Ruins, is set for release in May 2015.)
