-Summary courtesy of Novelist

The discussion will be held HYBRID: both at Downers Grove Public Library and Zoom:

If you choose to join virtually, you will receive an email the week of the discussion with details regarding how to join.

RSVP to Mary (msustar@dglibrary.org)

Please arrange to obtain your own copy of the book for the discussion.
Please note, depending on your library, this title is available through Libby and Hoopla.

The first half of the meeting will be a traditional book club setting where library workers have the opportunity to participate in a discussion as “patrons.”

The second half will be devoted to our leadership topic, or nut-and-bolts session, where we share practical solutions to the problems and concerns of discussion leaders.

Our leadership topic will be “what to do when someone talks too much.”
How to keep the conversation on track and make sure everyone has a chance to talk.

Also, remember that you can always bring any problems or concerns you have with your group, no matter the topic, so we can all help each other.
