The discussion will be held HYBRID: both at Oak Park Public Library: Main Library and Zoom:
If you choose to join virtually, you will receive an email the week of the discussion with details regarding how to join.
RSVP to Margita (mlidaka@oppl.org)
Please arrange to obtain your own copy of the book for the discussion.
Please note this title is available on Libby.
The first half of the meeting will be a traditional book club setting where library workers have the opportunity to participate in a discussion as “patrons.”
The second half will be devoted to our leadership topic, or nut-and-bolts session, where we share practical solutions to the problems and concerns of discussion leaders.
Our leadership topic will be how to “grow” a book club:
How do you gain more members and when we might – or actually might not – want to do that.
Also, remember that you can always bring any problems or concerns you have with your group, no matter the topic, so we can all help each other.
