Genre Study: Audiobooks – Solo Narrators (voiced vs. unvoiced)

April 6, 2023 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Assignment:

We will be discussing solo narrators and the difference between voiced vs. unvoiced narrations. A voiced narration is when the narrator vocalizes all of the characters in a way that makes each character distinguishable from one another. An unvoiced narration is when the narrator reads the story in a straightforward tone with no changes in voice for different characters.

Please listen to 1-2 audiobooks read by a solo narrator, preferably one voiced and one unvoiced. Below is a list of suggested narrators and titles, but you are free to choose any narrator or title.
